Professor Averbuch is a world renowned expert in applied and computational harmonic analysis, Big Data processing and analysis, wavelets, signal/image processing and scientific computing. At the Tel Aviv University, Prof. Averbuch has supervised fourteen post-doctoral researchers, as well as more than 30 PhD students and hundreds of MSc students. Prior to joining ThetaRay, Prof. Averbuch was Research Staff Member with IBM’s TJ Watson Research Center in New York.

As Chief People Officer, Dana Maor Megiddo leads the global human resource strategy and implementation at ThetaRay. Dana, is a seasoned Human Resources Executive with over 20 years of experience across industries, geographies, and life cycle stages that are fast growing, merging, and evolving. In previous roles Dana has served as Vice President, Human Resources of MX1, SVP human resources at Perion, Frutarom Industries, Radvision (currently an Avaya Company) and Amdocs. She also spent two years as an independent human resources consultant for tech start-ups. Dana holds a B.A. in Psychology and Criminology, and an M.A. in industrial and Social Psychology, both from Bar Ilan University.

Prior to joining ThetaRay, Barak worked at the assurance business line of Ernst & Young Israel, with many high tech companies in the Big Data, internet and communications industries. Prior to his work in Ernst & Young, Barak served as a management consultant at Mashik, an Israeli management consultancy firm associated with AT Kearny. Barak is a certified CPA, and holds a BA in Accounting and economics (Cum Laude), from Tel Aviv University.
An experienced entrepreneurial senior executive with a long standing and diverse sales record, Shay’s career includes large scale commercial management, strategic partnerships development, direct sales, Projects management and system engineering experience. Having held senior positions with companies such as Verint Systems and I8, Shay possesses deep knowledge in Cyber Security, Big Data Analytics, SIGINT/COMINT Intelligence systems, Homeland Security (HLS), and Safe Cities. Shay holds a BA/SA, System Analysis and Business Management from the IDC, and an MBA, IT and Business Management from the Bar Ilan University.
As SVP Sales, Benjamin leads ThetaRay’s US sales and business development team. Benjamin joined ThetaRay from VASCO, where as VP North American Business Operation he held responsibility for driving all aspects of new busness development. With over 10 years experience in the industry, Benjamin has managed strong authentication security projects with some of the largest financial institutions, enterprises, and online applications around the world. Benjamin is a frequent presenter at many banking and financial industry conferences and web seminars throughout North America on preventing cyber fraud, account and transaction security for online and mobile applications.

Ovad served as General Manager of the Nice Enterprise Product and Technology Unit, leading Cloud, Big Data and Analytics groundbreaking innovation. Prior to Nice, Ovad served as VP R&D at HP Software, responsible for IT Management products of $1B business. Ovad holds a MSc in Management Science (Cum Laude) and BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science, both from Tel Aviv University.

As EVP of Financial Services Solutions, James oversees strategy for ThetaRay’s financial services solutions and its financial crime analytics platform. James is a highly experienced Risk and Compliance expert with over 25 years’ experience working with customers and technology in this sector. He has held positions such as Chief Compliance Officer, Head Trader and Senior Operations Director for leading financial services companies. He has also served in senior leadership roles with prominent technology providers to the financial services industry including EVP Risk & Compliance at SunGard and Managing Director Global Compliance Solutions at Nice Actimize. James also served as Managing Director for Global Equities at Bear Sterns, where he was responsible for surveillance, supervision and mitigating regulatory exposure. James holds a BA in Business Administration from National University, San Diego, and is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Professional (CRCP) by FINRA/Wharton School of Business.

Prior to joining JVP, Yoav headed Altus Media Ltd., a venture capital consulting business for VCs, as well as digital media and content-related startups, including JVP portfolio companies. Previously, Yoav spent five years as General Manager, COO and CMO of Exent Technologies, an industry leader in the area of games on-demand. Prior to this he held multiple executive positions at TeleKnowledge. In addition to ThetaRay, Yoav is on the board of AnyClip, AE-Squared, UIU, Correlor, Wishi and CrossReader. Yoav holds an International Executive MBA from Kellogg/Northwestern and Tel Aviv universities, as well as an MSc in Computer Science (cum laude) and a BSc in Mathematics (cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.

Gadi is one of the two General Partners of JVP (Jerusalem Venture Partners). With his strong background in media-related software and internet based R&D organizations, Gadi oversees and leads JVP’s investments in the areas of media, web, gaming and applications. Gadi serves as a board member of Cyber-Ark, having orchestrated the most recent investment round by JVP, as well as Siano Mobile, Funtactix, ComQi and Playcast. Gadi’s track record in the digital media space has provided him with strong domain expertise in both the consumer infrastructure world and the needs of service providers. Prior to JVP, Gadi was Corporate VP of Product Marketing and a member of the executive committee of NDS, a leader in digital pay-TV systems, supporting some of the largest digital broadcast platforms such as DIRECTV, BSkyB, Canal Digital and more. In recent months it was announced that Cisco Systems acquired NDS for $5 bn. At NDS, Gadi established the business of digital interactive TV in the late 90s, catering to the likes of Sky Sports, MTV, Discovery, QVC and other leading TV channels. Prior to NDS, Gadi held a variety of positions in software and Internet-based R&D organizations, including Director of Product Marketing at ServiceSoft Corp. Gadi holds a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics, as well as an Executive MBA, from the Hebrew University.
Prof. Coifman is a faculty member at Yale University and he is one of the world’s leading mathematicians, with over 35 years of research and teaching experience. His focus is on non-linear Fourier analysis, wavelet theory, numerical analysis and big data processing. Prof. Coifman was awarded the National Medal of Science by President Clinton and he is a member of DARPA’s Advisory Board and the National Academy of Sciences.
