ThetaRay is looking for a Data Scientist to lead research activities on customers’ big data, while using ThetaRay software-based platform. The Data Scientist will be responsible for design and development of the core data engineering methodology and supporting tools.
The Data Scientist will be responsible for understanding customer’s challenges and needs to achieve proof of value for the customer. The Data Scientist will work closely with ThetaRay’s business team and with ThetaRay’s Algorithm teams to optimize generic products for specifics customer environment and deliver it successfully and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
• Extract insights and actionable recommendations from large volumes of data
• Research, design and develop tools and supporting methodology that is based on ThetaRay proprietary algorithms.
• Deliver successful Proof of Value and Deployment projects.
• Design/modify the structure of the input data through integration of multiple data sources and types to fit into ThetaRay computational platform.
• Manage the Customer-specific technical solution throughout the project life cycle.
• Onsite operation – mostly abroad, in unknown environments, troubleshoot in case needed, initiate creative solutions and develop scripts on customer sites.
• Train the customers on the system, system usage and monitoring aspects.
• Build and maintain technical relationships with customers and partners.
• Provide on-demand support and assistant to customer requests, issues and questions.

Job Requirements:
Experience & Education:
• 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics
• First Degree in Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Data Mining and/or related quantitative engineering field
• Experience in solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
• Knowledgeable of Big Data technologies (i.e. Spark, Hadoop).
• Hands-on experience using statistical analysis tools such as SQL, R, Matlab, etc
• Fluency with Python scripting language.
• Strong data mining and forensic skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences
• Fluent English, strong verbal and written communication skills (all written communications are in English)
• Work professionally with peers even under pressure
• Willingness to travel abroad and work on customer’s site

We are looking for a SW Engineer for Test Automation. In this role, the Test Automation Engineer will write and execute software test plans, procedures, automation and quality framework and identify software defects.

The successful candidate for this role will have a technical background, strong attention for details, be a part of a high-functioning team and able to work with development, design, and product management to improve product quality. We are looking for a team player who has the ability to think outside-the-box to solve complex problems and can help us drive additional automation where possible.

Responsibilities:

• Write and execute software test plans and procedures in order to identify software problems and their causes.
• Perform analysis of documented requirements and directs or assists in the design of test plans and procedures.
• Monitors bug resolution efforts and tracks successes.

The Administration Manager/Coordinator will perform general and professional administrative support for our NY office and serve as a single focal point in the area of general office management , finance administration, purchasing, and more. The office works closely with Thetaray HQ in Israel.

Responsibilities Include:
Provide complete administrative support, including coordinate meetings, telephone calls, conferences and travel arrangements as requested.
Purchasing – open requisitions, follow up, contact suppliers, send PO’s,
